Jack and Jill went up the Hill Thunder rumbled in the distance. Jack shivered, but he wasn’t cold. The blood stained curtain billowed, though the air was still. Jack heard the door creak open behind him. Footsteps echoed in the silence. He looked down and checked the silencer on his pistol. Could someone have heard the shot, he wondered fearfully. Jack didn’t want the witness to see his face. So, he stopped himself from turning around. The cabin was in the middle of the woods. It was a dark and stormy evening. And, no one knew he was here.
